Acabo de ver este vídeo del nuevo puerto de Marbella.
Marbella, una ciudad de 100mil habitantes, tiene ya 4 puertos, incluido el celebérrimo Puerto Banús que, parece, ya se ha quedado chico a la Jet Set. Así que ahora vienen los árabes y con los petrodólares van y construyen este monstruo.
La zona donde van a echar el cemento está muy cerca del centro de la ciudad, bueno, lo cierto es que con esa magnitud, y siendo Marbella una ciudad verdaderamente chica, no es difícil que ese mega proyecto esté cerca del centro. Se van a cargar el polígono antiguo, pequeños negocios familiares, no es que me gusten mucho los polígonos industriales, pero hay muchas familias allí que se ganan la vida desde hace generaciones, y ahora no saben lo que va a pasar, porque por aquí prometen mucho, pero cumplir ya es otra cosa.
Y la verdadera pregunta es esta: hace falta algo así??? Hace falta tener un puerto en una ciudad de 100mil habitantes donde puedan amarrar tres barcos de cruceros, tres ciudades flotantes que, soltados sus pasajeros, van a doblar de golpe la población del lugar? Considerando que ya hay cuatro puertos en Marbella, considerando que a 70km, en Málaga, hay un puerto de amarre de barcos de gran calado, me pregunto: para que??? Donde esta la crisis???
Que descorazonador... En vez de invertir nuestros recursos en algo que nos asegure verdaderamente un futuro, energías limpias, educación y sanidad (pero de las verdaderas!), investigación, ayuda a los países subdesarrollados (pero de la verdadera!!!), nos gastamos millones y millones en ESTO!!! Para que lo puedan disfrutar... quien??? Los mismos de siempre, el golden 10%, y me incluyo en ello, porque la vida me ha dado el privilegio de poder ir a tomar un refresco o comprar algo en esos sitios (aunque no tener un barco), pisando las cabezas del resto de la humanidad.
Pero que nos hace falta para reaccionar? Que nos hace falta para entender que esto no puede seguir así, no porque no lo queramos, sino porque es totalmente insostenible!!! Que es lo que nos impide ver que solo tenemos un planeta, y que es uno y único, que todo está conectado, que si tiramos nuestros desechos al mar o al aire, todos los estaremos bebiendo o respirando! Nuestros hijos también!!!
BASTA YA de lujos absurdos, volvamos a lo que realmente es importante, la vida, la salud, la felicidad, pero las de TODOS!!! No es posible mantener por mucho tiempo un sistema donde el 90% paga por el 10%! No es sostenible, no es humano, no es ético y no es posible! BASTA YA, BASTA YA, BASTA YA por favor!
Este vídeo ha abierto la puerta a un sentimiento de impotencia, negro, feo, enfadado, porque se que los planes están aprobados ya, los contratistas ya tienen sus contratos, están esperando machacar a los abogados de la asociación de pequeños empresarios del antiguo polígono con vista al mar para tener vía libre y empezar los trabajos.
Estoy triste, muy triste... Nos venden este proyecto como una de las medidas para la salida de la crisis, la creación de muchos puestos de trabajo... A esas personas les dejo esto:
Maldita sea, toda una generación echando gasolina, sirviendo mesas, esclavos con collares blancos. La publicidad nos hace perseguir coches y ropa, trabajar en empleos que odiamos para comprar mierda que no necesitamos. Somos los hijos medianos de la historia, tío. Ningún propósito ni lugar. No tenemos ninguna Gran Guerra. Ninguna Gran Depresión. Nuestra gran guerra es una guerra espiritual. Nuestra gran depresión es nuestra vida. Todos hemos sido criados por la televisión para creer que algún día todos seríamos millonarios, divos del cine y estrellas del rock, pero no lo seremos. Estamos aprendiendo poco a poco este hecho. Y estamos muy, muy cabreados.

I just saw this video of the new port of Marbella.
Marbella, a town of 100 thousand inhabitants, already has 4 ports, including the renowned Puerto Banus that, apparently, has already outgrown the needs of the Jet Set. So here come the Arabs with their petrodollars to build this monster.
The area they are going to cover with cement is close to the town center, well, actually, for a projecto of that magnitude, and Marbella being such a small city, everything so big would be near its center. They will sweep away the old industrial area, small family businesses, not that I particulary like industrial sites, but there are many families who have been earning their living for generations who don't know what will happen, because around here one hears many promises, but fulfilling them is a completely different story.
But here the real question is: is this really necessary??? In a city of 100 thousand inhabitants, do we need a port to harbour three cruise ships, three floating cities that, once their passengers ashore, would make the local population suddenly double in number? Considering that there are four ports in Marbella, considering that 70 km from here, in Malaga, there is already a harbour for large ships, I can't help asking: what for??? Where is the crisis???
It's disheartening... Instead of investing our resources into something that will truly ensure our future, as clean energy, education and health (but the real ones!), research, aid to underdeveloped countries (but the real one!), we spend millions and million on THIS! Something that can be enjoyed by... whom??? Always the same ones, the golden 10%, me included, because life has given me the privilege of being able to afford a drink or buy something in such a place (not keeping a boat there, though), stepping on the heads the rest of humanity.
What do we need to react??? What do we need to understand that this can not go on like this, not because we don't like it, but because it is completely unsustainable!!! What makes us blind from seeing that we only have one planet, and that it is one and only, that everything is connected, that if we throw our waste into the sea or air, we will all end up drinking or breathing it! And so will our children!
ENOUGH of absurd luxuries, back to what really matters, life, health, happiness, but for EVERYBODY!!! One cannot keep alive for long a system where 90% of the people is exploited by the 10%! It's not sustainable, it is unhuman, it is unethical and cannot go on! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, please!
This video has opened the door to a feeling of helplessness, black, ugly, angry, because I know that the plans have already been approved, the contractors have already signed their contracts, they are only waiting to crush the lawyers of the association of small businesses of the old industrial estate overlooking the sea to have the hand free and start the building.
It makes me sad, very sad... We have been sold this project as one of the measures for ending the crisis, the creation of many jobs... My reply to those people is this:
God damn it, an entire generation pumping gas, waiting tables, slaves with white collars. Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes, working jobs we hate so we can buy shit we don't need. We're the middle children of history, man. No purpose or place. We have no Great War. No Great Depression. Our great war is a spiritual war. Our great depression is our lives. We've all been raised on television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires, and movie gods, and rock stars, but we won't. We're slowly learning that fact. And we're very, very pissed off.
